Cecilia Persson Quintet

Cecilia Persson is a renowned composer as hightlighted by her exploits with Paavo. In her quintet she pushes her concepts and borders further and at the same time closer to "pure jazz" and creates more space for the innovative pianist she is. The company and the setting she has chosen, reveals it's not about playing safe. The group started out as a collaborative effort with the visual artist Pernilla Persson (Cecilia’s sister), with projections and interactive sketching during concert. The adventure is just around the corner!
